Andrea, Nolan, and guest Tristi Pinkston/Amelia C. Adams discuss The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society. They cover topics such as Nazis (grammar and otherwise), knowing what you’re getting into, and making your narrative fit the genre. They also cover character growth, interaction, and choices.

Loved this movie! I will have to rewatch it now to pick up on all the things you’ve pointed out. I think the title breaks the rules, as stated, but it also works for me, because sometimes you can successfully break the rules. It made me realize that blurbs/promotions should set up accurate expectations. “It’s a Beautiful Life” was never advertised as a Christmas movie. Nolan obviously goes for the “full nuzzle” so congrats on the upcoming event.
Ha ha! Yeah, he definitely does go for the full nuzzle. 🙂 And I just discovered your comment! I need to sign in to this website more often instead of having others do it for me. 🙂 (My brother, mainly. :-))
